Frequently asked questions
Why is personal use worthwhile?
Solar electricity you use yourself saves the entire purchase price, that is, energy, transmission and tax. Surplus sold to the grid usually earns only the exchange price, from which the seller may deduct a margin.
Where can I get a yield estimate?
From the panel supplier. Yield depends on the roof's orientation, tilt, shading and location.
